Mr. RFHS: Charity wins

This year's third annual Mr. RFHS pageant raised $1,760 that will be split between the River Falls Food Pantry and St. Croix Animal Friends. River Falls High School National Honor Society (NHS) students puts on the event, advised by teacher Terri Steinmetz. Senior David Black was crowned "Mr. RFHS."

This year's contestants included freshman Bailey Ronnestrand, Mr. Congeniality; freshman Jesse Halling, Mr. Popularity; senior David Black, Mr. RFHS; junior Tim Ballard; senior Ace Sauerwein, first runner-up; sophomore Riley Tschumper; junior Hunter Dolan, second runner-up; and sophomore Nathan Czech.

Students who helped run the pageant include: Savana Welch and Sahand Eftekari, sound/lights; Miranda McAleavey, Kelli Skogen, Maddie Wagner, Cecily Ripley and Hannah Tulgren, production set up; Tessa Balsiger and Jenna Lammer, choreography; and Alex Haskins and Ryan Russell, master of ceremonies.
