Minnesota mountain bike cyclists to compete at Whitetail Ridge in River Falls
More than 300 student athletes from 26 teams of the Minnesota High School Cycling League will race Sunday, Oct. 13, at Whitetail Ridge trails in River Falls.
The location is the wooded hillside that overlooks Whitetail Ridge Corporate Park on the north side of River Falls.
“Whitetail has hills!” said Minnesota League Race Director Gary Sjoquist. “And a bench-cut single-track that winds along a forested ridge.
“It’ll be a beautiful autumn event for both racers and spectators.”
The first 12.75-mile race for varsity girls starts at 10 a.m.
Boys start racing at noon. The first varsity race is 15 miles.
