Lottery ticket worth $350,000 sold in RF Wednesday
Wisconsin Lottery officials confirmed Thursday morning that a "SuperCash" ticket worth $350,000 was sold Wednesday, May 14th at the Kwik-Trip convenience store, 1200 S. Main St., in River Falls.
Jennifer Price, Department of Revenue spokeswoman, said the ticket sold in River Falls Wednesday matched all six "Super Cash Day" numbers.
The winning number sequence was 1-15-16-29-33-36.
The $350,000 prize was the big one for Wednesday. Meanwhile, five people in the game won $500 each, 345 won $30 each and 4,437 won a buck, the Lottery web site states.
An employee at the Kwik-Trip store said Thursday they learned of the winning sale when a lottery employee made a routine call to reorder supplies.
"It was sort of 'Oh, by the way...'," said the worker, who declined to be identified.
The winner has 180 days to come forward and claim his or her prize. They'll find instructions to do so at www.wisconsinlottery.com
