Copies of "The Killer Angels" by Michael Shaara, our River Falls Reads 2013 book are now available for sale or to check out. Paperback copies are only $5. There are also several audiobook copies available for check out. We are gearing up for this event with some great programs. More information on this next week!

All story time programs start this week. If you'd like to register your child, call the library, 715-425-0905, or stop by the children's desk.

-- Baby Time for babies up to 24 months at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesdays.

-- Toddler Lapsit for children 24-36 months at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesdays.

-- Preschool Story Time for children 3-5 years at 10:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. on Thursdays..

These sessions run now through April 30/May 2.

School Inservice Day program

Lego Motorcycle Event at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 21in the Lower Level. Come to hear stories about motorcycles, make a Lego motorcycle, hear about motorcycle gear and safety, and get a guided tour of the motorcycle exhibit. Event open to children in K - 8th Grade. Registration required. Please call the library at 715-425-0905 to register.

Share the Road with Motorcycles

Thursday, Jan. 24 at 7 p.m. in the Lower Level. A great training/refresher session presented by Rick Gates (ABATE of Wisconsin) for both experienced and new drivers, designed to raise awareness and improve skills for sharing the road with motorcycles and bikes.

Paws to Read - Read to a Dog

Wednesday, Jan. 23 at 4 p.m. in the children's program room. River Falls Public Library's read-to-a-dog program. Ideal for struggling or reluctant readers in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Registration is required. Please stop in or call the library to sign up for a 10-minute session.

Lots of new fiction and films coming in. Stop by, relax, and do some browsing!
