Library to host 'A Mid-Winter Dance' Saturday
The River Falls Public Library, with support from the Library Foundation, is hosting "A Mid-Winter Dance" Saturday, Jan. 18.
Billed as "Sort of a 'do-over prom,'" the event starts at 7 p.m. with basic dance brush-up lessons provided by professional dance instructor Nancy Sukowatey.
The dance will feature live dance music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s by The Bad Habits Brass from 8-10 p.m.
Admission is free. Refreshments will be available. Attendees may wear appropriate attire from formal to casual.
"It's designed to have a seriously good time! ," said Library gallery and event coordinator Katie Chaffee. "Ages 16 and older please. No upper limit."
