Letter: Young actors rocked
If you missed the latest production of Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, sponsored by the River Falls Community Theatre, you missed something special.
Two directors from RFCT took 70 local children, spent four hours a day last week, and by Friday night put on an original musical production of “Robin Hood.”
I had the pleasure of being in the theater during the rehearsals and watched the magic happen — 70 kids aging from 7 to 16 — singing, dancing, and learning lines, all within five days.
What a bunch of talented children we have in River Falls.
Do not miss next year’s production of “Peter Pan” to be performed the week after River Falls Days.
On behalf of River Falls Community Theatre, I thank all those who helped in this year’s production, including River Falls Country Inn, Dish and Spoon, River Falls Parks and Rec, UWRF, and Hub 70.
And a special and big thank you to all the children who did such a grand job, and to their parents.
Ricky Jacobson, RFCT president, River Falls
