Letter: Questions hospital CEO on abortion
In an Oct. 15, 2008, online edition of Rivertowns.net article, candidates answered questions on health care, job creation, social issues and more.
One of the social issue questions that put the candidates on the spot was, "Do you believe all unborn people have human rights? Answer yes or no..." Alison Page and Sarah Bruch answered "no."
Does the Baldwin Area Medical Center really want a CEO (like Page) who believes that some children waiting to be born have no human rights and can be killed based on a person's view of "choice?"
We can make certain judgments about a person's character based on their "views."
If Page believes that some innocent, vulnerable babies do not have human rights, how will she feel about other vulnerable, innocent people in a hospital?
