Letter: Kindhearted act brought joy
This week I was purchasing items at the new Kwik Trip on the north side of River Falls. A young man, probably 16 or 17, was paying for gas at the next register.
Overhearing the conversation with the employee checking him out, the young man said he was short of money and would need to call someone at which time he dialed his cell phone.
Apparently no one answered, but when he hung up his phone the Kwik Trip employee (a bit older young man, perhaps a college student?) who was waiting reached into his wallet and said, "You're good to go."
The high-schooler murmured a "Really?" and the employee told him to "Give someone else $5 sometime if they need it."
This truly made my day and should be shared!
