Kind 'listening session' is Tuesday
U.S. Rep. Ron Kind will hold a listening session Tuesday, April 14, in River Falls to meet with area residents, listen to them and hear their feedback.
The session will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon in the main level meeting room at the River Falls Public Library, 140 Union St.
According to Kind's staff, the listening session is intended to give citizens an opportunity to meet directly with the congressman to discuss concerns or questions they have with the federal government.
"Traveling the district and meeting with the people of western Wisconsin remains my favorite part of the job," Kind said. "It is more important than ever that I hear the voices of families and small businesses as they cope with the current economic climate.
"I also look forward to the opportunity to give them an update on what I am doing in Washington to get the economy working again, expand access to health care and protect the rights of hunters and anglers."
Individuals who are unable to attend the listening session may also contact Kind by calling toll free, 1-888-442-8040, writing to him at 205 Fifth Ave. South, Suite 400, La Crosse, WI 54601, or sending an e-mail through the website www.kind.house.gov/.
