Dr. Bob Johnson (center), of River Falls, gave a presentation on Camp Needlepoint to the Roberts Lions Club on July 25 at the Roberts Park Building. The Wisconsin Lions Clubs collectively sent 44 children to Camp Needlepoint, for children with diabetes. Johnson thanked the Lions and and gave them some information about Camp Needlepoint. Together, the Wisconsin Lions donated more than $20,000 to the camp. Children Afton Eisch and Colby Zimmer presented to the Lions Club about their experiences at Camp Needlepoint. Eisch has attended the camp for about 10 years. Zimmer has attended a few times.
