Paula Tiede is the new owner of the CURVES franchise in River Falls. Despite being a new member, she decided to buy CURVES when she saw that previous owner Connie Kastner wished to retire. Tiede will train during the month of April, and will take over CURVES May 1.

Tiede moved to River Falls in 2003. She has four children, Carl, a freshman at Concordia Moorhead, Andrew, a junior at River Falls High School, Maria a sixth grader at Meyer Middle School and Lana, a Kindergartener at Rocky Branch. Tiede and her husband Peter have been married for 24 years.

In the past, Tiede has worked as an Aerobics instructor in college, a middle school English teacher for Mounds View Public Schools, a violin teacher for local kids and adults and a mother to four children.

CURVES has also moved to a new location at 111 E Walnut St.
