Help keep kids warm by donating winter clothing
Clean out your unused coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens and gloves in your closet and donate to a local collection box near you. Your donation will help keep a child warm and dry outside in January temperatures.
Basics for Local Kids is a local organization in their fourth year of offering winter-wear to kids ages infant to 18.
Gently used and new winter-wear items needed include coats, snow pants, boots, hats, mittens and gloves in kids and adult sizes (for the teens).
Monetary donations are also needed for boots, water-resistant gloves and other items that don’t get donated in needed sizes; please mail to: BLK, PO Box 61, Ellsworth, WI 54011.
