In River Falls, the clinic will be held from 3-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at St. Bridget Catholic Church's fellowship hall.

The target groups include pregnant women, those living with or providing care for children under 6 months of age, healthcare/EMS workers with direct contact with patients or infectious materials, children 6 months through 4 years of age, and children 5-18 years old with medical conditions placing them at higher risk.

Due to a limited supply of vaccine and restricted target groups, the previously scheduled school clinics have been indefinitely postponed.

Parents of children who are included in the targeted groups are encouraged to bring them to one of the scheduled community clinic sites.

Pierce County Public Health has also received a limited supply of injectable seasonal influenza vaccine for adults. Any adult wishing to receive a seasonal flu shot should call Public Health at 273-6755 to make an appointment.
