Green was all the rage in RF

Crowds gathered across from Veterans Park to watch the annual St. Paddy's Day bed races.

On Monday, March 17, River Falls residents dressed in green and congregated in downtown for the St. Patrick’s Day festivities.

Crowds of people lined Main Street to watch the annual bed races. Prior to the races “leprechauns” could be seen traversing downtown in search of some piping hot potato soup, participating in the poker run, or looking for the medallion.

Winners of the bed races where: First, Johnnie’s Bar; and second, Bo’s N’ Mine. Potato Soup Cook-Off winners: First, Treasures from the Heart; second, MainStreeter; and third, Maverick’s Corner Saloon.
