Grace A. Dusek, 87
Grace Agnes Dusek, age 87, of River Falls, died on Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at her home.
Grace was born Nov. 12, 1922, to Joseph and Frances (Fasbender) Langer in Diamond Bluff, Wis. On June 5, 1946, she married Joseph Dusek. To this union, five sons were born. Joseph and Grace farmed in Mann Valley until 1975.
She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting, and playing cards. She was an active member of St. Bridget's Church for over 60 years, and loved to spend time with family and friends.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Frances Langer; sister, Bernice (Langer) Curtis; three brothers, Arthur, Victor, and Wilfred Langer; son, Dale Dusek; and loving husband, Joseph Dusek.
She is survived by sons, Roman (Marilyn Pechacek) Dusek, Gerald (Onnalee Lunger) Dusek, Randall (Barb Bernard) Dusek, and Ronald (Lisa Musil) Dusek; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Kathleen (Ed) Zugschwert; brothers, Kenneth (Sherrianne) Langer and Marvin (Shirley) Langer; sisters-in-law, Rosie (Victor) Langer and Mary (Wilfred) Langer; and many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in River Falls. Visitation was also held on Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment was in the St. Bridget's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Grace's grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the St. Bridget's Church Memorial Fund.
