Gov's. Walker, Dayton to meet in Stillwater Friday

MADISON -- Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton will hold a press conference at 3:30 p.m., Friday at Stillwater's Lowell Park, Walker's office announced just after 8 a.m. today.

The event is open only to credentialed members of the press, said Walker spokesman Cullen Werwie.

Walker will apparently travel north from LaCrosse following a 10:30 a.m. bill-signing ceremony at Grandad Bluff Park and a 1 p.m. graduation ceremony for new State Patrol troopers at the Stoney Creek Inn at Onalaska.
