The Cats tuned up for the BRC Tournament by placing 12th at the rain-shortened Rice Lake Invitational at Turtleback last Thursday. The 20-team tournament was cancelled after nine holes with Eau Claire Memorial in first at 15-over-par and Hudson and Superior tied for second, each at 21-over-par.

River Falls finished 12th at 38-over-par, one stroke behind Eau Claire North.

Pat Cox and Wes Karras were each 9-over for the Wildcats while Holden Ohlsen and Brad Freeborn each finished at 10-over and Jake Knotek was at 13-over.

Following Wednesday's BRC Tournament, the Wildcats will compete in the WIAA regional at Superior's Nemadji Golf Course on Tuesday, May 25. The top four teams and top four individuals who are not members of qualifying teams will advance to the sectional tournament Tuesday, June 1, at Holm's River Edge in Marshfield.
