Herum, a sophomore first baseman at UW-Whitewater, was named the WIAC Position Player of the Week while Feyereisen, a righthanded sophomore at UW-Stevens Point was named the league's Pitcher of the Week.

In six games for Whitewater last week, Herum went 10-for-24 (.458), with 10 runs scored and 10 RBI to help the Warhawks to a 6-0 record. He also walked five times. With runners on base, he was 9-for 17 (.529) in advancing the runner(s).

In a game against UW-Platteville on April 3, Herum's triple in the seventh inning provided the game winning run. Against UW-Superior on April 5, he hit a solo home run in the bottom of the seventh to end the game on the run-differential rule. Herum had a .984 fielding percentage at first base (one error in 63 chances) in the six games.

Feyereisen recorded the win on the mound for the Pointers April 5 against UW-Platteville, allowing just four hits and one run in eight innings pitched. He used nine strikeouts to tally his first win of the season and improve his season ERA to 1.96.
