Fighting Fish top Spring Valley Hawks 14-6

SPRING VALLEY - The Spring Valley Hawks amametur baseball team lost a St. Croix Valley League game Wednesday evening 14-6 to River Falls.

River Falls led 5-2 before scoring eight runs combined in the fifth and seventh innings to take a 13-2 lead before the Hawks plated four runs in the seventh.

The Fighting Fish had 17 hits in the game, including four doubles and two home runs. Brian Giebel hit both homers for RF and Nate Brom smacked two doubles.

River Falls improves to 4-0 in the SCVL while Spring Valley is still looking for its first league win, now 0-5.
