As snow began to fall fast and furious Thursday afternoon, Feb. 20, one family made the most of the abundance of sticky snow and built a very large snowman.


The snowman was a little taller than 14-year-old Meyer Middle School student Hunter Omberg, who is about 6 feet tall. Omgerg built the snowman with his family; 11-year-old Taylor Omberg, mom Lee Sprute and step-dad Josh Mills.

The family lives on Union Street near the River Falls Public Library.
