The UW-River Falls football team will kick off the 2013 season under the lights Friday night, Sept. 6, at home against St. John’s.

For the first time in 60 years, St. John’s will take the field under a coach other than the legendary John Gagliardi, who retired at the end of the 2012 season at the age of 86. Gagliardi’s 489 wins are the most by any college coach at any level. He guided St. John’s to four national championships.
