Eurie Deiss, 91";
Eurie Albert Deiss passed away on July 3 at the Kinnic Long Term Care Facility.
He was born Oct. 12, 1921, to Ed and Susan (Rock) Deiss. He was a carpenter and worked with his father before starting out on his own. Eurie worked as a finish carpenter for various companies in the metro area, as well as being co-owner of Croix View Liquor Store. He was also very proud to be a member of the United States Coast Guard.
He was married to Jeannette (Bachel), and will be lovingly remembered by his children, Bob (Marie-Anne) Deiss and Lana (Jerry) Filkins of Prescott; his grandchildren, Jason (Cathy), Jessica (Mike), Jeff (Kim), and Cassien; his great-grandchildren, Nicole, Ethan, Harper, Rhett, Travis, and Brendan.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Jeannette; parents Ed and Susan; his sister, Bernice (Larson), and brothers Ganus, Harold, and Bobby.
Pallbearers: Jason Deiss, Jeff Filkins, Mike Hamilton, Ed Deiss, Greg Deiss, and Charlie Hansen.
Mass of Christian burial was at St. Bridget Catholic Church with Fr. Jerry Harris.
