The project involved tearing up and repaving a four-mile stretch of Hwy. 35 beginning on the north end by County Road U and extending south to the new multi-lane roundabout at Hwy. 65 and Cemetery Road.

The four-lane segment of the highway was milled and repaved with concrete while the two-lane segment of the bypass was milled and topped with a new layer of asphalt. DOT sources confirm the project is on schedule and should be complete by the goal deadline of July 16.

For more details, see the July 8 print edition of the River Falls Journal.
