Ellsworth man hurt in motorcycle-Corvette crash
An Ellsworth man was hospitalized late Wednesday afternoon after his motorcycle sideswiped a Corvette and crashed.
Trevor J. Holst, 29, was transported by Red Wing Ambulance from the scene on Hwy. 63 on Trenton Island, following the 4:42 p.m. crash.
A Pierce County Sheriff's Department press release said Holst was southbound on a 1980 Kawasaki when he crossed into the northbound lane and struck a 1984 Corvette driven by Marvin R. Ray, 67, of Hager City.
Holst was thrown from the motorcycle upon impact and landed in the east ditch. He was transported to Fairview Red Wing Medical Center with undetermined injuries.
Ellsworth Fire assisted deputies at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
