New Richmond girl, 14, charged with attempted homicide

Donation leads to green hair

Last fall, the Kindergarten through fifth grade Faith Formation class at St. Bridget Catholic Church, set a goal of bringing in 1,000 pounds of food to the food shelf. It was their way of reaching out to help the needy and live their faith. They worked at it all year -- can-by-can, box -by-box -- and they finally topped the 1,000 pound mark last week. As a reward the Rev. Gerald Harris brought in ice cream treats and teacher Diane Wengelski wore a Viking's jersey and colored her hair green.
