Dioramas offer a 'peep' at spring

Many River Falls Public Library patrons gathered their creativity to make some sweet artwork for this year's peep diorama competition. Winners recieved a certificate and "bragging rights," according to Library Director Nancy Miller and Event and Gallery Coordinator Katie Chaffee.

Each participant also recieved a toothbrush courtesy of River Falls dentists. 

Prizes were awarded as follows:

  • Youth grade 5 and under: (tie) Katie Olsen, River Falls, "Peepza Hut"
        Talia Thompson, River Falls  "The Princess and the Peep"        Lily Schartau, Spring Valley  "Goodnight Peep"
  •  Youth Grades 6-12: Violet Stavinsky, River Falls "Star Wars Episode 4"
  • Adult Division: Tim Bylander, River Falls  "Village Peeple"
  • "Peep-le's Choice": Kris and Mckenna Neimy, "Hanging with my Peeps"
