Deer-dressing men face fines
The state DNR says five suburban Milwaukee men who trapped and put a T-shirt on a wild deer could be fined up to $300 each.
WTMJ Radio and TV reported this week on a YouTube video from Oak Creek that showed five men create an elaborate trap, wrestle with a deer, then put a shirt on the animal. The men were seen laughing as they released the deer.
Warden Kaitlin Kernosky said it's hard to see somebody act like that toward a wild animal. She said the DNR has identified the five men and was planning to track them down.
Residents said they later saw the deer, and only part of the shirt was around the animal's neck. The YouTube video has since been removed.
