D'Boys to perform during Cheese Curd Festival
The musical group D'Boys have one goal in mind when you listen to their performances.
"If you can't dance to us," said member Loren Hadenfeldt. "You can't dance."
The group will take the stage during the 12th annual Ellsworth Cheese Curd Festival 8 p.m., June 29.
D'Boys was formed in the early 2000's, and was originally known as the Delivery Boys (the band took up the name D'Boys after their fans and locals started calling them the "D" Boys or "Da" Boys). Since then, they have played at countless fairs, festivals and concerts in the Midwest, and have opened for national acts, including Phil Vassar, Craig Morgan, Sawyer Brown, Trick Pony, Black Hawk and Skid Row.
Hadenfeldt is one of four members in the band along with Mark Knoll (guitar and vocals), Ben Johnson (bass and vocals) and Jim Berger (bass and vocals). Hadenfeldt plays guitar, keyboard, banjo and fiddle. D'Boys is based out of Menomonie, but some of the members also call Minneapolis home.
