People seeking a performance-horse prospect or a companion or pleasure-riding horse will see 43 different horses at the event. Many of them are two-year-old colts, others are aged horses that were used for lessons in the university's riding program.

College students in three Principles of Training Horses classes trained the young animals. Potential buyers can view the horses at the colt-sale website: www.uwrf/coltsale.com, as well as videos of them working and information about their pedigree. Buyers will also see the horses ridden on sale day.
