NOTICE TO BIDDERS
STERLING PONDS CORPORATE PARK PHASE 1
The City of River Falls will receive sealed bids at the City Clerks office at City Hall until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 10, 2014, at which time bids will be opened and publicly read aloud in the Training Room of City Hall, located at 222 Lewis Street, River Falls, Wisconsin for Sterling Ponds Corporate Park Phase 1.
The work includes the approximate following quantities:
2,500 feet of urban street
2,850 feet of paved trail
3,850 feet of sanitary sewer main
3,795 feet of water main
2,285 feet of storm sewer
144 feet of twin cell 4x12 (24 total) Precast RCP Box Culvert
130,000 cubic yards of mass grading/excavation
Said work shall be in accordance with the Plans and Specifications prepared by the Auth Consulting & Associates of Hudson, Wisconsin. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of River Falls, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the successful bidder will execute the Contract and furnish a performance bond and payment bond in the total amount of the Contract within ten (10) days after the award of said Contract.
All bids shall be in a sealed envelope clearly marked: Sterling Ponds Corporate Park Phase 1". The City of River Falls reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City.
Contractors on the Project shall be required to comply with minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development Wage Rate Determination.
