2009 WELL HOUSE ADDITIONS

RIVER FALLS MUNICIPAL UTILITIES - RIVER FALLS, WISCONSIN

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by River Falls Municipal Utilities until 3:00 pm, Friday April 3, 2009 at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud, for the furnishing of all labor and material for the construction including but not limited to masonry chemical feed rooms with required electrical, mechanical and plumbing appurtenances, ventilation and door updates to the existing building, and sanitary sewer services:

Bids shall be on the forms provided for that purpose and according to the Contract Documents prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. dated March 17, 2009.

The Bidding Documents may be seen at the issuing office of Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. located at 156 High Street, Suite 300, New Richmond, WI 54017 and in Chippewa Falls at 421 Frenette Drive, Chippewa Falls, WI 54729.

Paper copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained from Docunet Corp. located at 2435 Xenium Lane North, Plymouth, MN 55441 (763-475-9600) for a fee of $100. Bids will only be accepted from Contractors who purchase Bidding Documents as noted above.

Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the bid must accompany each bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.

Bids shall be directed to the Utility General Manager securely sealed and endorsed upon the outside wrapper, "BID FOR 2009 WELL HOUSE ADDITIONS."

Bidders Proof of Responsibility must be submitted to SEH on or prior to the date set for opening and receiving of bids.

Contractors on the project shall be required to comply with the minimum wages and labor standards as determined by the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development Wage Rate Determination.

River Falls Municipal Utilities reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Utility.
