Thorn is at Gillette Children’s Hospital after going into cardiac arrest in January.

After praying for the boy in class, Middle School Faith Formation coordinator Mary Maillette said she and the students discussed ways to help. The kids chose a Brownie Ice Cream Sundae fundraiser, which they held Feb. 19.

The children raised more than $750, which was given to Phillip Thorn’s family.
