Choirs present Haiti benefit

River Falls Church Choirs and the Community Choir presents the 10th annual "It Takes a Village" concert 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., to benefit students and teachers of the school in Ganthier, Haiti. A dessert reception follows the concert. River Falls Church Choirs and the Community Choir presents the 10th annual "It Takes a Village" concert 4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, at Ezekiel Lutheran Church, 202 S. Second St., to benefit students and teachers of the school in Ganthier, Haiti.

A dessert reception follows the concert. Each choir will present two numbers with Peter Dulak, choir director at Ellsworth High School, leading the 100-plus voices in two final songs.

Project director Curt Larson will give an update on the school project in Ganthier, Haiti. A free will offering will be taken with all proceeds going to support the students and teachers of the school.

The previous nine concerts have raised $45,978, an invaluable amount for the project.
