Charlotte Adeline Jensen, age 98, of River Falls, Wis., died Tuesday, May 21, at the River Falls Area Hospital.
Charlotte was born on April 14, 1915, in Great Falls, Mont., the daughter of Charles and Louise (House) Pope. She was a graduate of Hudson High School and attended River Falls Normal School for 1 year. Charlotte married Harvey Jensen in January of 1933. To this union, four sons were born: Keith, Duane, Harlan, and Dwight. Charlotte and Harvey owned and operated Jensen Jersey Dairy for many years in River Falls.
Charlotte loved playing cards, fishing, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her three sons: Keith (Mary Ann) Jensen, Chetek, Wis.; Duane (JoAnne) Jensen, River Falls; Harlan (Janice) Jensen, Hot Springs Village, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Scott (Peggy) Jensen, Tracy (Ellen) Jensen, Brad (Monica) Jensen, Roxie (Jack) Hanson, Miki (John) Flanagan, Brian (Sandy) Jensen, Keven (Tanya) Jensen, Todd (Kelly) Jensen, Peter (Katie) Jensen; 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; two half-sisters, Viv and Evie.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey; an infant son, Dwight; stepbrother, Don, and stepsister, Shirley; and two half-sisters, Dot and Ruth.
Services for Charlotte will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at the River Falls United Methodist Church, River Falls. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, River Falls. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday.
