The Cats finished 1-3 Saturday to place sixth in the final conference standings. Their losses came against Menomonie, Eau Claire Memorial and Superior.
River Falls received the No. 7 seed for regionals and will begin postseason play at No. 2 Eau Claire North Thursday at 7 p.m.
In addition to the BRC Tournament, Saturday was also the Cats' "Dig for the Cure" event. River Falls wore pink jerseys during competition and all teams incorporated pink into either their warm-ups or uniforms.
Money raised through donations, baked goods and the sale of T-shirts totaled over $1,000 that will go to the Susan G. Kommen Foundation for breast cancer research and awareness.
