Cats fall to unbeaten Menomonie

Menomonie kept its season-long shutout streak intact by blanking River Falls, 38-0, Friday night, Sept. 20. in a Big Rivers Conference football game at Nelson Stadium in Menomonie.

The Mustangs improved to 5-0 overall, 3-0 in BRC play while not allowing a single point all season. The Wildcats slipped to 1-4, 0-3 in the BRC.

Menomonie led 20-0 at halftime before scoring 18 third quarter points. Jon Krueger led the Wildcat offense with 26 yards rushing in six carries.
