Can do for cancer - walk this Saturday in El Paso
River Falls Wisconsin 2815 Prairie Drive / P.O. Box 25 54022

Appreciation goes to the Ellsworth community for many years of donating cans for the American Cancer Society, and to Scott and Joanne Gulbranson of JoJo's Jewelry and Gifts for managing and maintaining the collection site.

This year's donation was $1,240.29. From left to right are Collette Larson, committee member, Clark Goodwin, committee chair, and Kellie Burrows, American Cancer Society Community Partner.

The Ellsworth event was held July 24 and raised over $11,000. Plum City held its event on July 9 and raised over $19,000. El Paso's Run/Walk is the third of the combined effort for Pierce County and will be held this Saturday at the El Paso Bar and Grill.

Registration is at 8 a.m. and the walk starts at 8:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. To register or donate, contact organizer Renee Tatzel at 715/778-5545, or Burrows at 715/426-5448 or kellie.burrows@cancer.org.

Monies raised provide much-needed services for community members facing cancer, including 24/7 support with a live person, free rides, free lodging, free wigs, education toward healthy lifestyles and research for better prognosis.
