Bonnie Traynor, 45
Bonnie Jean Traynor, 45, of Ellsworth, Wis., died April 26, 2010, surrounded by family and friends after a courageous 11-month battle with cancer.
Bonnie was born July 3, 1964, in Red Wing, Minn., the youngest child of Ronald and Lorena (Richter) Traynor. She attended Lindgren grade school and Ellsworth Jr. and Sr. High, graduating in 1982, being noted for her perfect attendance. She then attended Red Wing Vo-Tech for computer programming. Her work history includes jobs at Midwest Importers (Cannon Falls), IBM and Infocure (Rochester), and currently worked for Lexis-Nexis (Red Wing).
Bonnie was the ultimate Green Bay Packer fan. She traveled to Green Bay several times a year to attend training camps, fan fest, and games. She was the first member of Greg Jennings fan club, collected Packer autographs, and NEVER missed a game. She even took her parents to a game in recent years. She also loved to travel and had visited England, Ireland, Alaska, Hawaii, and New York with her dear friends Dale and Jackie. She also loved music, and attended countless concerts with her idols being Bruce Springsteen, John Mellencamp, and Bonnie Raitt.
Bonnie was a regular visitor of the Red Cross bloodmobile, and donated at every opportunity. She loved playing games, especially trivia, and enjoyed attending family functions, almost never missing a birthday or holiday get-together. She was known for her fun-loving nature and her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her parents, Ronald and Lorena Traynor; sisters, Betty (Roger) Duncan, Karen (Traynor) Peterson; and brother, Keith Traynor. Also survived by two nephews, Dustin (Elizabeth) Peterson and Matthew Peterson.
