Barbara Jean Fleming, age 78, of Hudson, Wis., formerly of River Falls, died on Wednesday, May 15, unexpectedly, at her home.
She was born on June 3, 1934, in Roxanna, Ill., to Samuel and Hazel (Gibbons) Fleming.
Barbara was very dedicated to her religion, her church, family, and friends. She especially enjoyed and loved being a grandmother. She had seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Barbara is survived by her children, Christa (Greg Frey) Perrin of New Richmond, Wis., Paul Perrin of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Melanie (Jerry Knott) Perrin of River Falls, Jay Perrin of Lafayette, Colo., and Shirlene Perrin of St. Paul, Minn.; grandchildren, Dawn, Daniel, Eric, Derek, Grace, Mary, John; great-grandchildren, Big Devin, Jada, Little Devin, Chance, Daniel (Jr.), Micah, Deyton, and Aryah; siblings, Shirley (Francis) McCune and Sammy Fleming of East Alton, Ill.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Barbara will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 25, at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home in River Falls. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
