About 200 volunteers were honored by the Aging and Disability Resource Center last month during a banquet at The Orchard restaurant. Volunteers provided home delivered meals, served meals at nutrition sites, transported St. Croix County residents to medical appointments, provided companionship or phone reassurance, provided light housekeeping, ran errands, helped with yard work and chores, offered respite to caregivers, provided tax assistance, assisted with activities at adult day programs and assisted in the ADRC office.
