Badger women overcome big deficit to get win
The University of Wisconsin women overcame an 18-point halftime deficit to win at Michigan Thursday night 69-67.
Jessica Minnfield missed a three-pointer at the buzzer that would have given the Wolverines the victory.
The Badgers hit nine three-pointers in the second-half to over a 36-18 deficit at the break. They had only hit one trey in the first 20 minutes.
Jolene Anderson led Wisconsin with 14 points. She has now made a three-pointer in all but 18 of her 120 career games with the Badgers.
Minnfield scored 15 for Michigan, which dropped 9-8 in the Big Ten and 16-11 overall.
The Badgers now have the identical records and they've won five straight and eight of their last 10.
Wisconsin will close out its regular season on Sunday at home against Iowa.
