Badger men crush Penn State on the road
The Wisconsin men's basketball team crushed Penn State on the road last night, 80-55.
Senior Michael Flowers scored a career-high 23 points, as the Badgers shot 60 percent from the floor and 56 percent from three-point range.
Wisconsin scored the first eight points of the game, and a 19-0 run in the second half sealed the deal.
The Nittany Lions lost forward Geary Claxton for the rest of the season, after he tore an ACL ligament in his left knee in the first half.
He was averaging almost 19 points a game.
Jamel Cornley had 13 for Penn State, which fell to 2-and-2 in the Big Ten and 10-6 overall.
The 17th-ranked Badgers won their eighth straight contest to go 4-0 in the conference, and 14-2 overall. They'll host Northwestern on Saturday.
Tonight, the Marquette women will play at West Virginia.
