Another big-head carp caught in Lake Pepin
Fishermen on Lake Pepin have caught a lunker that could spell trouble in that area along the Wisconsin-Minnesota border.
A 29-pound big-head carp was reeled in last week near Frontenac on the Minnesota side.
It's the second such carp taken there in recent years and it poses a threat to the native fish.
The big-head carp was imported to the U.S. more than three decades ago. It's been steadily working its way upstream along the Mississippi River.
