Adeline Marie Kohl (Rydberg) went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 20 at the River Falls Area Hospital. Adeline was born April 1, 1919 in Shell Lake, Wis., to Oscar and Alma Rydberg, but made her home for 72 years in the River Falls area.
Her husband, Stewart; granddaughter Kelli; her parents; five brothers and one sister preceded Adeline in death.
Adeline is survived by her children, Larry (Barb), Bryan (Arlys), Glenn (Kartra), Cindy, and Jayne (Haywood) Washington; eight grandchildren, Justin Kohl, Bradley Kohl, Jody Kohl, Becky Brooks, Alexandria Kohl, Samantha Kohl, Desiraye Washington, Seiarra Washington; four great-grandchildren, Ben Kohl, Jacob Ossmann, Samuel Zuege, Sawyer Zuege. She is also survived by her sister Pearl Capra and many nieces and nephews.
Adeline was an active, lifelong member of the Apostolic Gospel Church and will be remembered for her faithful service and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Adeline will be greatly missed by her family, friends, caregivers, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 24, at the River Falls Apostolic Church, with visitation 1 hour prior to service on Friday and on Thursday evening, May 23, from 6-8 p.m., at the Cashman-Hill Funeral Home, 225 S. Third St., River Falls.
