Digital Brigade occupies retail space

River Falls resident of 18 years Reuben Herfindahl announced in June his intentions to expand Digital Brigade, a computer-services businesses, into the retail space at 214 S. Main St.

Herfindahl opened the business 10 years ago and serves as its lead engineer.

He said though the company's mainstay business is acting as the IT department for small businesses, the goal behind Digital Brigade's expansion is to make residential service available at prices people can afford and in a convenient location.

The company offers helps with nearly all computer-related issues such as networking, conversions, updates, rollouts, hardware or software, installations, virus cleaning, broken computer parts, compatibility issues, printer repair and problems with TV or other basic electronics. Digital Brigade also offers a cloud-based backup solution and unlimited storage.

Herfindahl says the retail space has been open for about a month, welcoming customers from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday through Friday.
