Schachtner defeats Jarchow in special election

Dan and Terri Pearson have an organic farm E-I-E-I-O

Dan and Terri Pearson were the first organic farmers of the River Falls area and they are opening up their pastures for a pasture walk event on Monday, July 23. The pasture walk will take place from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

Pearson farm is a part of the Organic Valley Dairy Farm and want to share the benefits of organic farming with the community.

The event will educate both the public and the farm owners and operators about the effects of animal health on a pasture. There will be information about how to farm, tips and information about organic farming and the importance of grazing for cows.

The Pearson's organic farm produces beef, pork, chicken and eggs for sale. They are located just north of the city in the town of Troy at 524 County Road MM, River Falls, WI.

Everyone is welcome to attend and a free luncheon will follow.
