River Falls Paramedic Katy Frey waits at the triage station for actors to come through the main doors into the commons of the River Falls High School where the clinic is set up for the full scale training exercise. The exercise took place on June 24 and was part of the Cities Readiness Initiative which is a federally funded program that gets cities ready for a bioterrorist attack. This exercise used anthrax as its basis.

Bruce and Sharon Elliott, owners of the garden at 857 McDiarmid Drive, are pictured on their front porch with their dog Flower. Their gardens feature a variety of flowers including roses, iris, daylily, peony, clematis, foxglove, and a gated stone pathway to the back yard containing a gazebo, fountain, and a rock garden. The yard contains beautiful maples and white pines. There will be antique cars parked in the winding driveway.
