Connected in a big way: Hastings grad leads UW-River Falls student body

Mike Kramer of River Falls business Corporate Apparel and Mike Schletty of Hudson-based Schletty Electric worked together to erect the new sign for the building at 127 N. Main St., which houses several businesses. Three of them recently moved into the building formerly known as Beyond Lighting, Ben Franklin and Hallmark.

Judy Ritger of River Falls won the Best of Show in rosemaling with a corner cupboard painted in the Gudbrandsdal style. Most rosemalers paint in a style specific to one of the different areas of Norway, and each style has very distinct characteristics.
